The Story of Rayon (20th C)

Lyocell was funded by, and developed to replace, Courtaulds viscose rayon which as "artificial silk" made in Coventry UK kick-started the world's man-made fibre industry in 1905.

This folder will become a gallery of archive photos of Courtaulds Viscose operations, starting with the series of published in 1948 as "The story of rayon" (62 photos).
